Lead Guitarist and Drummer Wanted To Form Original Rock Band

posted: November 21, 2009, 05:54 AM

Replyviolet.george@gmail.com

Drummer and Lead Guitarist/Songwriting Partner wanted to form an original rock band. Must be dedicated, passionate about their abilities, and very driven. You must also have your own professional grade gear and reliable transportation. This is a brand new project. A kickass bassist has already been added to the lineup. Basically we are looking for a drummer and a lead guitarist that can not only write music for new songs but can also learn the songs already in our arsenal. My strength is vocals and writing lyrics and melodies. Finished tracks can be heard at www.myspace.com/violetegeorge.

If you respond to this ad, you must be willing and able to take this project as far as it can go. The ultimate goal of this band is to get signed. (and no I’m not kidding or delusional :-) Financing has already been put aside for press packets, recording of more demos, and an entertainment attorney when the time arises that we need one. In other words, no hobbyists please and no hard drugs. Above all, no flakes…if you are unreliable please do not respond to this ad.

Also, no one over the 35ish range please (unless you just look much younger than your age). I wish I didn't have to add that stipulation, but this project's ultimate goal is to get signed and unfortunately record labels have a certain image they want to see before they are willing to invest in you. I wish that weren't so.

If you like what you hear and want to be a part of it feel free to send me a message either via MySpace www.myspace.com/violetegeorge or at my other e-mail address violet.george@gmail.com or call 214-717-2914. If you call and don’t get an answer, please leave a message on my voicemail with your call back number and I will return your call as soon as possible.

If you have any recordings or videos of yourself playing please include the links to that in your response

Thanks and have a great day!

Premier Solo Acoustic Performer Available For All Occasions

Replytonyrey99@yahoo.com

Most solo acoustic performers sit on a stool while they strum and croon. I don't do that - I'm emotionally involved with the music I play while I seek to create textures that tickle the ear. And my repertoire contains a very wide variety of pop and rock favorites from the mid-sixties up to the present as well as an assortment of pre-rock classics (Sinatra, Ray Charles, etc.). I combine a highly unique blend of guitar and vocal skills with my intense passion for performing to create an expansive and cohesive sound rarely found in acts of this kind. I will liven up or sweeten up the atmosphere of any event or setting with what I have to offer, whether you want loud or soft, rockin' or chilled. I can also provide classically styled instrumental music for low key gatherings such as dinner parties, wedding ceremonies or art gallery exhibitions.
Please visit my website – TONYREYMUSIC.COM – click on the MUSIC page for access to AUDIO CLIPS and SONG LIST or copy and paste this link - http://www.tonyreymusic.com/solo_acoustic_covers.html . You should also check out my Testimonials page to read what other have said about my performances - http://www.tonyreymusic.com/testimonials.html . Thank you very much.

I recently moved to DFW from Seattle. Interested in joining or forming a top 40 cover band playing up-tempo, melodic pop rock and alternative rock dance hits from all eras, 60s to the present, disco included. I have professional gear, two drum sets, mics and a monitor. I know hundreds of songs, and can learn new ones quickly. I've been in cover bands in St. Louis, Atlanta and Seattle. I have a 9-6 M-F corporate job, so I'm only available Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays. I play a steady tempo w/ a strong backbeat, and know a lot of cool fills and beats. I don't over-play. I'm reliable and have a great attitude. Also available for fill-in / substitute work. References available from former band members. Colin

first, im not gonna lie to u about anything. i am something u have to physically experience not just hear. i sing for my survival and to reach others, music rules my life. i have a good voice, not incredible, but my writing/lyrics are like nothing i've seen. about society/social, friendship, addiction, mental illness, political etc . i dont have the want but feel the need to get this out there. if you just do this for fun i will make you uncomfortable. daily life is a struggle, so when i am singing heavier it is a very powerful presence. i can also sing. have a good voice. cant find a band because im too hardcore. you must have balls and not just do this out of want but need. i have rage, but just as powerful i have a deep unrelenting love. if all this alarms or intimidates you, i am not for you. you'll know if this is you and i await your response. send me a clip or two, i'll send you some of what i do. i also play guitar. this is rock oriented. thanks for your time. dfw area.714-331-1133
