Inner Frequency has been chosen to compete in the final round of the Land Shark Lager Battle of the Bands. Inner Frequency finished in the top 20 of the southwestern region based on online votes and was then selected as one of the top 4 from the region by judges from Land Shark Lager and Rhapsody. They traveled to Austin on October 9 for a live video taping on the stages at KLRU studios where Austin City Limits is filmed. The tune “Satellite,” from their most recent CD Surge which was released earlier this year, can be viewed on the voting site at www.landsharkrocks.com.

Inner Frequency is composed of Cara Young, lead singer and songwriter, originally from Georgia. Cara attended college at Middle Tennessee State University and then worked in the music business in Nashville, TN before moving to Dallas, TX; Jon Mosig, drums and backing vocals, from Arlington, TX; Bryan Plemons, bass guitar, from Texas; And playing with the band specially for the Battle of the Bands: Matthew Johnson who plays with Patrice Pike from Austin, TX and Dave Perez from hard rock band Invain, who calls Dallas home now after being displaced by Hurricane Katrina from his hometown of New Orleans.
