Christian drummer/vocalist looking for a band to facilitate my ministry calling.

Dedicated to helping invoke the Holy Spirit, and providing people with the Word of God, to empower them to follow Christ.

I have been playing the drums in the praise and worship band at the Church my wife and I attend (Community of Hope United Methodist [COH]) in Mansfield, TX, for 4 years now, and we absolutely love it there!!!!... With that said, I am looking for something outside the walls (not limited to) where people may not necessarily be looking for Him. I am all about playing in Churches as well, but people at a Church are typically there because they are seeking Him, or already know Him. I love to worship with my brothers and sisters in Christ, and certainly love the idea of helping individuals take that final step in dedicating there life for Him, but I would like to focus on spreading the good word with people that may have been exposed to Christ in the wrong way (My testimony, which I would love to share, will explain), or people who have never formally been introduced to our Father at all.

I have been playing for quite some time, and have been recording and playing professionally for 7 years. However, I want to make this clear... I am NOT looking for monetary supplement, this is my call to ministry. He blesses me everyday, I wish to honor and worship Him!!

I'm 29 years old, married to my wonderful wife Kristie, and we have 3 kiddo's; Elijah (11), Tyler (3), Keenan (14 mo.). They are very supportive of the music ministry, and in fact, my wife plays the flute, and sings backup at COH (Community of Hope United Methodist) in Mansfield, TX where we attend.

I am able to rehearse/record 2 evenings a week, and gig as often as possible. Thursdays evenings and Sunday Mornings are out for me, unless it is gig related. Gigs take precedence!
I have pro gear, pro attitude, reliable transportation, and am very easy to get along with.

I am a Christian bass player, and have experience playing many tyoes of music, from funk r&B, gospel to rock, CCM and most anything EXCEPT alternative, Rap and hard rock. I have road experience, have played outreaches as well as secular engagements. I have good equipment and have transportation.
I am interested in bands, subhave a date thier bassist can not make, and am available for church worship teams. Please note for churches an honorarium IS involved. The amount depends on how many services and if there are rehearsals involved Prior to service. I am easy to get aalong with, and expect you to be the same way. I am a professional, and expect you to be and act professional without ego getting in the way. God has graced me with being able to play at a prety good level, and I do not expect to play with musicians that are beginners or sound like beginners. I live in N Dallas, transportation is not an issue. Should you call please give me as much info as possible, what you have, what you expect,and what your budget allows. I am not interested in churches that are political or self indulgent or pure start up, I am interested in Christ filled scriptually sound churches.
