Anna's House is a Non Profit organization an agency under Buf Texas (501c3 )and a project of Texas Teen Summit need your help. Our Residential Shelter in Garland Texas caught on fire in the middle of the night that left 4 teen girls displaced and an adult woman due to the fire damages. We are in need of our communities to come together and help us help these teen girls with temporary shelter, donations, and food. We operate by private donations only and not government funded. This is a plea for help on behalf of these girls that are currently in school, not in the streets, not on drugs, doing something positive with their lives and trying to recover from the past failures and then this happens to set them back. All girls are back in school and doing well and we are trying our best to keep it that way, our program equippted women and teen girls to get back in to society with the proper tools they need to function as productive citizens. We never turn away anyone that is in need even when our organization has depleted all funds paying bills, buying food, and making sure the major things are covered for the house to continue to operate as needed. If anyone would like to donate please click on the link below or copy and paste the link and it will take you to our secure paypal account. Any one that donates to our 501c3 organization get's a 100% tax deductible write off for your contributions. The I-in-T is then placed with the Training Coordinator / Investigator (TC/I) to train them. Only at the TC/I's discretion is the I-in-T is placed with other Investigators for further training. If the TC/I is not available this responsibility falls to the President. 3. Investigator - An Investigator-in-Training that has shown a unique talent on several investigations, and has been voted in by a majority of the Investigators to become an Investigator. With the release of the movie Whip It creating a buzz, the ladies of Assassination City Roller Derby, Dallas County's only women's roller derby league, want you to know that they've been practicing for this moment a long time. "Assassination City Roller Derby was formed in 2005, and we've been training, bouting, and quite literally busting our tails ever since," says Kernal Angus, one of the veteran skaters of the league. "It's amazing to see everything you've been doing the last few years on the big screen. It really hits home."
While this Dallas league doesn't play on a banked track like in the movie, Assassination City's "flat-track" intraleague teams have kitschy names that rival the movie's "Hurl Scouts" and "Holy Rollers." The Kennedy Conspiracy themed league has some seriously clever team names; The Deadly Kennedys, The Bombshell Brigade, and The Lone Star Assassins. And these girls skate. Hard. "We have alot of fun and are fully aware of our tongue-in-cheek origins. I mean, we all have names like Ella Vader and JuJu Jitsu, but we are serious, competitive athletes, too," explains Trigger Mortis, a member of the league's travel team. Assassination City's intraleague teams bout locally in the D/FW area, while the league's travel team, known as Special Ops, competes for rankings on a national roller derby level. On October 18, Assassination City Roller Derby will be hosting two demo bouts, aptly named "Red Carpet Rumble", in honor of the release of the Whip It movie, and are even inviting YOU to come out and skate with them in an open session skate with the ladies afterward. Don't worry, folks ... the open skate will be more like a couples skate than a derby bout, as the girls promise to, um, play nice during the open session, so it's kid friendly too. Skate rental is free and the Burning Hotels will be playing a live set during the session. The bouts and open skate with be held at Dad's Broadway Skateland in Mesquite. Soundtrack to the bouts played by DJ Sista Whitenoise. This time, the bouts are not BYOB for public safety during the open skate session, but concessions will be available for purchase. A portion of the evenings proceeds will benefit The Big Texas Toy Run. All of this derby will be offered at a one time special promo price of $6! Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and kids 10 and under get in free. Tickets available in advance at Pluckers on Greenville/Lovers, Lee Harvey's, the Barley House, Dad's Broadway Skateland, and HD Tavern of Lewisville or online at ACDerby.com. • Location: Mesquite

http://texassexaddiction.wordpress.com/ Years ago, a behavioral study unearthed a shocking discovery about traditional counseling methods. Many of those who enrolled in traditional counseling methods for addictions, compulsions, infidelity, relationship issues or other unwanted behaviors and thinking took longer to recover than those who didn’t! There may be a variety of reasons that contribute to this, yet the most important is this: We adults forget 90% of what’s ever happened to us. Through our childhood filters, we deem 10% ‘Important enough to remember’ and the rest is ‘lost’ to our subconscious. This means, at best, most traditional counseling methods only have access to 10% of our significant information. The unresolved core issues existing in our other 90% remain LOCKED AWAY, indelibly recorded in our brain…below our conscious awareness. The Principle of Real Estate applies…”LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!” You must LOCATE and ‘OWN’ (identify) the problem in order to FIX IT long term.
